Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and provide information to site owners.
2. Cookies We Use
Necessary Cookies (Always Active)
These cookies are essential for the website to function properly. They include:
- csl_cookie_consent (local storage): Records your choice, the date and the banner version. We ask again after 12 months or when the banner changes.
- Payment security (Stripe): When you pay, Stripe may set cookies needed for fraud prevention and to complete the payment.
- Authentication tokens: Used to keep staff members logged into the admin area. Session-based.
Analytics and Marketing Cookies
When configured, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measures visits and Host Resources product views, checkouts and verified purchases. It only loads after you actively click "Accept All". Rejecting non-essential cookies prevents loading; withdrawing consent stops further analytics and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. No analytics runs if our Google measurement ID is not configured. We do not use advertising cookies or Google advertising personalisation.
GA4 may use _ga and _ga_* cookies for browser and session identifiers, configured here to expire after 12 months. With consent, we keep campaign source, medium and campaign name for up to 30 minutes in session storage and pass them with analytics identifiers into order metadata to preserve attribution through hosted payment. A local record of previously reported order IDs prevents repeat purchase events; this is not sent as browsing history. No email addresses, names, download tokens or payment-link references are sent to GA4.
3. Managing Your Preferences
When you first visit our website, a cookie consent banner will appear, allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View cookies stored on your device
- Delete individual or all cookies
- Block cookies from specific or all websites
4. Third-Party Cookies
Stripe may set cookies during payment. Google may set analytics cookies only with your consent and when GA4 is configured. Links to WhatsApp and other external sites are governed by those sites' own cookie policies once you leave our website.
